UPCOMING EVENTS
Great Lent 2010
FR. THOMAS HOPKO TO VISIT MIAMI UNIVERSITY OCF FEB 27 - MARCH 1I wanted to give you the details of Fr Thomas Hopko's visit to Miami and the area Feb. 27-Mar 1.
He will be lecturing at Miami Monday March 1 at 7 pm in Harrison Hall 204. This is an OCF-sponsored event, so I hope everyone will turn out for it. Besides, Fr. Hopko is simply one of the most amazing speakers out there, so I promise you will not regret it.
He will also be speaking in two of my classes, at 2:15 and at 4:10, so
let me know if you are interested & able to come to those as well and I can give you the details.
Second, we have the opportunity to do a dinner with Fr. Tom. I am thinking we could do it Sunday evening (Feb 28);
let me know who would be able to do that asap because we have to coordinate with his visit to Dayton that afternoon.
Finally, I would HIGHLY encourage everyone to
attend the retreat he will be giving in Cincinnati on Saturday Feb 27. Again, it promises to be an unforgettable experience. We are very fortunate to have him here with us--these kind of events can truly touch a person's life--so take advantage of it. See details
here.
